August 1st 2023

Normally I expect the month of August to be hot but obviously for those in the US, July had the mercury elevated around most of the country. Hoping everyone and their loved ones were able to deal with the temperatures best as possible in their situation. Ironically for myself, this past weekend was the coolest, temperature wise, I experienced over the past few weeks. The month was very busy, with three trips to the East coast and a few locations in the Midwest. August will be busy with long road trips planned and h ...Continue Reading

July 1st 2023

Hoping everyone is doing well as we have entered the second half of 2023, my friends in Canada and US are dealing with poor air quality due to forest fires, primarily in Canada. Most of the Midwest is dealing with low rainfall levels, so hopefully we do not have any issues with fires due to the dry conditions - not a good combination was we are looking at Fourth of July in a few days, let's hope everyone is sensible in their celebrations. Those people who follow me on Social Media have seen a large amount of motorcycle ...Continue Reading

May 31st 2023

Summer is upon us and maybe everyone is making plans (or already completed) to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Hope everyone in the US was able to enjoy Memorial Day and in some way honored those military men and women who are serving or who served to defend our freedom. The images this month are both from a trip of mine to Grand Teton National Park, I know someone spending the summer there and thought it would be fitting to focus this month on the park. Our first stop will be on Mormon Row and the John Moult ...Continue Reading

May 1st 2023

Hard to believe the month of April is over but when I look back at my schedule, I was only home one weekend during the month - capturing ice hockey games or flat track motorcycles. The month of May is not much different with three weekends of motorcycles and one weekend of a fishing tournament, plus I will be visiting both the coast's and probably touching the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans - maybe a photograph or two will be taken. Hope everyone is doing well and if you have any special requests for desktop calendar image ...Continue Reading

Hopefully you are well and enjoying Spring this year, are you getting out and enjoying the nice weather? My year is already busy, as I type this I am in my fourth state to capture images - last year was my busiest to date and we will see if this year out paces 2022. As always, any comments, questions or subject requests are welcome to receive. Do not want a bunch of hate mail on this image, just a warning there is snow in the image. A couple of years ago in April here in the Midwest, flowers were blooming and Mothe ...Continue Reading

February 1st 2023

This past month was good, numerous photo opportunities with motorcycle racing, ice hockey and wildlife. The temperatures in the Midwest have been all over the map, with spring like days but also snow and ice days and single digit temperatures. Spent a few days in the New England area, considerable snow fall while there; lucky to escape before most of New Hampshire was blanketed with 12" of snow a couple of days after I left. While there, I was able to see a couple of college hockey games, which was diffic ...Continue Reading

November 30th 2022

Every year I say something about it's hard to believe the end of the year is here already but I can honestly say that this was a long year for my photography adventures. Spent more time on the road with my cameras, including more airline flights, than ever before. Not to say I did not have a great deal of windshield time, driving out to the NorthEast three times and two-thirds of the way to the Pacific Ocean. Hoping everyone had a wonderful year and are looking forward to 2023.If you would like to purchase a gift from m ...Continue Reading

Did everyone have a good Halloween and steal the good candy from your childs collection? Hopefully the fall colors have been great in your area and you have taken some time to enjoy the show of color. My October was extremely busy with trips on both ends of the United States, early in the month I was in Florida and about a week later traveled to the Pacific Northwest in Washington state. Assumed we would be there late enough to see some colorful scenes but learned that in Washington state the leaves change color later t ...Continue Reading
