Welcome to the month of November, sorry to say but the holidays are right around the corner, the temperatures and snow will soon be falling in the northern portion of the United States. Actually the snow has started in the Western US, over the past week I have seen snow in Arizona and Utah. If you are a baseball fan, the playoffs this year were incredible! Congrats to the St.Louis Cardinal fans on winning the World Series. For the Texas Ranger fans, hopefully you can reach the World Series next year and the third time will provide the result you want.
Last month I informed you I would be possibly traveling to a National Park or National Monument this month, well as I type this I am currently in Moab Utah - just finished an unforgettable day at Arches National Park. This trip has actually been something special, I have been to Saguaro NP in Arizona, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park and Arches National Park - all are located in Utah. It's been a very busy week! You can expect to see images from all of these parks in the future.

The images this month provide a couple of different views, the landscape image is Lower Yellowstone Falls from Yellowstone National Park. It is a very popular location for park visitors, this particular day was cold and rainy - so there where not many people there and I actually was using an umbrella to keep my camera gear safe from the rain. The other image was a special request by a local hunter, since it's hunting season in Illinois I thought I would honor his request. While hunters use different weapons based on the season, I choose to use my camera has my 'weapon' - hopefully to obtain a killer image. Sorry for the pun. The white tail deer in the second image was actually a captive animal, but I liked the way the leaves created a frame around the head area.

Right click on the text for the format you need and select Save As, save to a location on your computer that you can remember and change the background as needed for your OS.
