Tim Lester Images Monthly Update
The month of April seems like it flew by and we possibly skipped the month - I know we did not as I was very busy with trips and new clients. The first week of the month I was fortunate to visit three National Park Service locations in Kentucky and Tennessee along with a few other locations. Future desktop calendars will feature images from these locations, so you will have to wait to read about them.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, two weeks ago I posted numerous images to my social media accounts - hopefully you enjoyed those, if you follow my feeds. Everyone should plan on visiting at least one National Park Service location this year that you have not visited previously, there are many to choose from in every state. This months National Geographic Magazine covers the first National Park - Yellowstone, the complete magazine is dedicated to this one area, pick up a copy and read about this wonderful location.
The first image this month is from the same park as last months landscape image - Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. While in the park for a few days last month, we experienced sun, clouds, rain and intense wind storms - the winds created issues with the tent camping I was doing while the rain helped increase water levels. This image is from along the Roaring Fork Motor Natural Trail, taken in the Indian Camp Branch Creek - I will admit my boots entered the water looking for this specific image - hopefully you think it was worth it.
The second image this month is from Goose Lake in Canton IL, now that spring is here the eggs will hatch and baby animals will be born. On the day this image was captured, there was a large number of adult pairs taking their newly hatched chicks out for a swim. Would like to wish all mothers a wonderful Mothers Day on May 8, hopefully you relax and enjoy your day.

Right click on the text for the format you need and select Save As, save to a location on your computer that you can remember and change the background as needed for your OS.
