Hopefully everyone is staying dry, at least your basements, if possible. Here in Central Illinois we have been receiving rain nearly every day, a total of 21 days of precipitation has been recorded at the Peoria Airport. There are a few locations with rain nearly every day of the month. Surprising that we do not have any major flooding currently in the state but our rivers are rising with minor flooding in numerous locations. From the time machine - twenty years ago last week my wife and son started an adventure that las ...Continue Reading

Welcome to the month of June, seems like the year is passing by real quick, do you feel it also? The month of May was very busy and June appears to be moving that direction. Sadly, it appears most of the United States has decided COVID-19 is no longer a concern - I can only suggest if you are traveling that you do your best to stay safe. Our first image this month was captured this spring in the Shawnee National Forest, in Southern Illinois. The really fun part of this image was how simple it was to capture. W ...Continue Reading

Summer is getting close, kids will be out of school soon and hopefully everyone can start taking vacations without concerns of COVID creating havoc with their plans. Most of my traveling is by car and the last few months has seen a big change in peoples attitudes and just being 'tired of COVID'. Hopefully we can get past this soon and start living what was normal previously. I can tell you the Federal government has released or will be releasing funds to all the states for the interstate system - seems like every state ...Continue Reading

Heard the saying "Some of the best laid plans . . . " - that's how this month is starting for myself. So many things going on and one or two details get let behind. Currently I am sitting above the Circuit of the Americas(COTA) racetrack pitlane listening to race car teams get their garages setup while thinking of the things I forgot to do before I left for Austin Texas five days ago. While I remembered the beginning of April would occur during my trip, I failed to copy my template files for the monthly calend ...Continue Reading

The weather in the Midwest has made a 180 degree turn the last few weeks, middle of the month the average daily temperature was single digits and then less than 10 days later the average is in the forty's. Saturdays high of 58 in Peoria IL was a little much for this time of year - felt more like late spring or early fall as our snow cover is gone; I am starting to miss winter already. I have been spending some considerable time outside during the cold spells during this month, so there will be numero ...Continue Reading

Say hello to the shortest month of the year, February. Seems like this month is when winter really starts to show itself in the Midwest, the cold stays longer and snow falls accumulates. Definitely a change from a decade ago, so it's possibly another result of the global warning. We have been working hard to arrange contracts with clients for the year, hoping we can announce some exciting deals soon.Hopefully everyone enjoyed the images last month and the changes, as always your feedback is always welcome.First image th ...Continue Reading

The COVID-19 pandemic is still very active and the past few days have been at the fore front of discussion in the news. The United States have set daily infection records over the past few days and Britian is basically establishing a national lockdown on the last day of October. Seems like people are having a difficult time social distancing or scientists and doctors have not truly found the method of distribution of this virus. While I could quote various articles I have read, I truly don't know what to believe fr ...Continue Reading

This past month was interesting with the COVID-19 pandemic still being in the news everyday, entertaining presidential candidate discussions and unfortunately numerous fires along the US West coast. The amount of smoke in the atmosphere was incredible here in the Midwest, can not imagine how things were closer to the fires. Talking to friends near the fires, I learned the smoke was thick but the ash was much worse and covering just about everything. At the end of this month there is a rare event, a rare Halloween B ...Continue Reading
